J Neve Harrington: Screensaver Series

Date: September 10, 2025 - September 10, 2025
Location: Italy

Four performers create a dynamic human tower on a wooden stage floor against a black background. At the base, a person in floral-patterned clothing lies face down with arms extended. Above them, a person in a black and white houndstooth top is positioned horizontally. In the middle, another performer in colorful patterned clothing extends their arms outward for balance. At the top, a fourth performer in light-colored clothing completes the formation with arms also outstretched, creating a sculptural arrangement of interconnected bodies in what appears to be a contemporary dance or physical theater performance. About the show

An installation combining dance and soundScreensaver Series. The movement of the five performers is continuous, synchronized with Jamie Forth’s music. The patterns created by their bodies, constantly intertwining, resemble the perpetual activity of a screensaver—ever-changing images, like a kaleidoscope that merges colours in endless new ways. You’re invited to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable: walking, sitting, or standing. From different angles, the work takes on new forms—an enchanting and hypnotic weave of shifting patterns that evoke both natural and technological imagery.
