About the show

Rayne J. Raney is a Berlin-based artist working at the intersection of movement, performance, and poetry.
Their immersive performance “FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES // BARE WITNESS // BOTTOMS UP”, presented in the Kampnagel foyer, explores the theme of ADHD and the urgent need for visibility and recognition in a society filled with prejudice.

The sound design, set, and lighting were created collaboratively by Elliott Browne-Clarke and Rayne, co-founders of RAYNE&CEREMONY (Berlin, Germany). Through an innovative element of chance, Rayne interacts with the audience by performing a series of carefully selected or completely random tasks. These unpredictable moments reflect the chaotic and creative nature of life with ADHD and invite the audience to reflect on identity, societal limitations, and the relentless passage of time.
