Daniela Morganiça
Daniela Morganiça (Portugal) is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on performing arts and writing. Has a degree in Theater from ESAD.CR (PT), and a master’s degree from the same institution in conjunction with LKA (LT). Works on her own creations since 2005, as well as in co-creations with other Portuguese and International creators.
Short after awarded with the Portuguese Young Creators Award in 2005, a more than a decade hiatus, she returned to the stage in 2022, received a mobility grant for artists from Goethe Institute in 2023. Her most recent works count on participation in SLURPS festival – New Stages for Art Contemporary, in the 25th Edition of the Haihatus Arts Center Summer Exhibition (both FI, 2024) and in the 18th Made in Estonia Marathon (EE, 2025).
Her work plays with notion of Time, in a somewhat DIY approach – art as means of survival. Her stories are products of reflections of circumstances and the impossible dance around them. Fight, limits, flesh from one hand, unrest, chaos, persistence in the other – and, above all, Love as an act of rebellion.

Tear! (Fear)
Description: A performative solo - work in progress
Extra information: A line, a path, or a memory. What was supposed to be, but wasn't, and ended up being something else. Tear! (Fear) is an almost choreographic piece, a grimace of struggle, mourning —the timeline interrupted by life on hold, and with it, all the turmoil, hope, and fear. About the time that passes, the time that escapes us, and the time that doesn't return. About stopping to breathe after the battle still raging. About the dive into the sea that brought us back. And returning.
Première on the 18th Made in Estonia Marathon 2025
Auguri! (Agouro)
Description: A Kintsugi performance
Extra information: Auguri! (Agouro) [From the Italian – Congratulations, From the Portuguese – Omen] is a ritualistic and cathartic performance open to the spectator. It was designed to celebrate error, failure. Based on the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi (acceptance of imperfection), the performance uses Kintsugi (the Japanese tradition of repairing ceramic pieces with gold) to, with it, celebrate all the differences that unite us.
Première on SLUPRS – New Stages for Contemporary Art festival 2025
Monochomatic View
Description: Visual Arts
Extra information: A series of 11 (and growing) hand-sew portraits. Monochromatic View is a reflection about unity and care in a growing divided world. Memory of community (reason of material and technique chosen), bonding and belonging - a labor of love. This work it's intrinsically linked to accessible art (the cross-stitch portraits make possible to blind and low vision people to understand each piece).
