Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 March 2027, East London
A three-day international symposium in London exploring disability arts, creativity, and what cultural exchange can do when it leads to real change.

Europe Beyond Access is proud to be a partner of the Unlimited Symposium 2027, a major international gathering dedicated to the future of disability arts, taking place in London from 15–17 March 2027. The three-day event will bring together disabled artists, cultural leaders, organisations, funders, policymakers and allies from across the UK and around the world to exchange ideas, share practices and build momentum for lasting change in the cultural sector.
As a network committed to increasing the visibility and opportunities of Deaf and disabled artists across Europe, we are delighted to contribute to a programme that places disabled-led artistic practice at the centre of the conversation. The symposium will explore access, inclusion, representation and international collaboration through keynotes, workshops, roundtables and creative presentations.
Since 2018, Europe Beyond Access has worked alongside partners across Europe to support artistic innovation, mobility and professional development for Deaf and disabled artists. The Unlimited Symposium offers an important opportunity to connect these growing conversations internationally and to spotlight the artists and practices that are reshaping contemporary performance.
As EBA Project Director Ben Evans notes:
We’ve been working across Europe since 2018, supporting the growing visibility and innovation of Deaf and disabled artists. Funding and equity across the cultural sector may ebb and flow, but the conversation around disabled-led aesthetics is more exciting than ever. Through our partnership we look forward to bringing London a glimpse into the practices reshaping performing arts across Europe.
We look forward to sharing more information in the coming months.
