What if the history of sound had begun elsewhere?
PAS MOI traces its origins back to the first recording devices of the 19th century, designed with the aim of ‘correcting’ Deafness.
From the perspective of Deaf people and sign language users, drawing on little-known archives, the three performers bring other narratives to light, transform the way we listen and look, and open up a space in which difference becomes a force that reshapes our perceptions and our imagination.
