About the show

What is it we’re really trying to hold on to when we can’t let go of someone we love? In a poignant and deeply personal duet, we follow a close relationship slowly being erased by Alzheimer’s — a disease that steals movement, memory, and identity.

Good morning, Sindre is a visually powerful dance performance about universal experiences of loss, memory, and longing. In an open stage space, choreographer Jean-Baptiste Baele and dance artist Max De Boeck explore grief, love, and the struggle to hold on to what is slipping away — through physical presence and intimate connection. The duet expresses both sorrow and love, and the attempt to hold on to what is slipping away. Through movement and body language, it conveys the struggle to preserve memories and identity, raising important questions about what we truly keep when we refuse to let go.

Jean-Baptiste Baele explores how we move, interact, and carry history within our bodies. He creates powerful and touching performances that resonate with audiences regardless of background.

Good Morning, Sindre is a performance for anyone who has felt longing, wondered about the power of memory, or tried to hold on to something or someone who is fading away. The performance is a warm tribute to humanity and to love.
